Eye Examination

Your eye examination will begin with a brief discussion about how you feel regarding your eyesight. The Ophthalmic Optician will then test various aspects of your vision and eye health, whilst explaining what they are doing and sharing their findings with you along the way. Be prepared for a sight test experience unlike those of the past, with our state of the art Frastema turntable unit, on which the 4 main optical testing instruments rotate and appear one at a time in front of you!

The 40 minute journey through your eye test will be undertaken using the most up to date Zeiss monitoring and measuring equipment to ensure that we keep on top of your eye health and visual needs.

On very rare occasions, an eye test can lead to the need for further medical consultation, for example, with a GP, or at a hospital. Your Ophthalmic Optician will advise you should any further action be required.
