Contact Lens Consultation

Contact Lens Consultation

Contact lenses can be a great way of complementing your new spectacles or can give you a new lease of life when it comes to vision. With today’s latest technology, there is a contact lens to suit almost everybody’s needs. Whether old or young, or whether you have a complicated prescription or just need lenses for reading, we will endeavour to find a contact lens to suit you.

We use the latest lens technology available, not only to give you the best vision but also the best comfort.

During your consultation, our specialist contact lens optician will discuss our range of lens options with you then choose a lens that will suit your lifestyle and needs.

Once the lenses are on your eye, you will be given a chance over the following hour or two to enjoy your new vision without spectacles. You will then be invited to return so that the contact lens optician can check the final prescription and fitting, before proceeding to sit down with you and instruct you how to handle and look after your lenses. Please allow a couple of hours for this fitting.

Once the optician is happy that you are confident about lens care, you will be able to take the lenses home with you to wear and allow you extra time to make a decision whether they are right for you.

The contact lens optician will invite you back at a later date to discuss how you have found your lenses in general day to day wear. At this point you can then decide to join one of our schemes, where you can enjoy discounts off contact lenses and spectacles, or you may just wish to purchase a set amount as you go along.

Types of lenses available

Daily disposables are our most popular choice when it comes to contact lenses, covering over 70% of all prescriptions and are available in single vision, astigmatism and multifocal designs.

We also offer a wide range of monthly disposable lenses complete with solutions to disinfect.
