The brand Celine was founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana in Paris, who created one of the first luxury brands within the fashion industry, starting with children’s shoes.

In the 1960’s the focus changed to ready-to-wear fashion for women, with focus on sportswear.

Céline remained the brand designer until her retirement in 1988.

Celine is effortlessly sleek, understated and minimalist yet exquisitely elegant.
